"The water smelled a bit odd. I was hesitant, but I drank it anyway. It was worth it as it tasted like natural seltzer water. It tasted different than the brands you can buy in the store. Definitely a novelty as how often does one drink something spewing out of the ground?"

"A spouting carbonated mineral spring on Geyser Loop Road at the Southern end of Saratoga Spa State Park. If you visit the Creekside Classroom, you can find this spring across the street from the parking lot, just off the side of the road, so watch for any traffic! There is a small sign "Polaris Spring" and a ring of rocks, out of the middle of which the spring spouts naturally out of the earth to a height of three or four feet. You can drink straight from the stream or reach out to fill your cup. The water is cold, carbonated, and is mineralized but has a milder taste than Karista Spring on the other side of nearby Geyser Creek. This makes Polaris the most enjoyable naturally carbonated mineral water in the area in my opinion. Some may have concerns about the radon component to the water but the amount is actually very minute and should be of no concern. Enjoy!"
