"I saw the Economy Inn sign at the exit off SR 17/I-86 when I was ready to check in after a long day of driving. The Inn was about five miles from the highway, but their signage was good and I had no problems finding the place. Check-in was efficient and I liked the room (#117). Room was clean, bed was comfortable, and the mini-fridge worked fine. The property was quiet overnight. No breakfast included, but there were a few places in town where you could grab some food. I wanted to get back on the road quickly the next morning, though, so only stopped at the 7-11. I'd stay here again if I was ever in the area."

"If you've business in Alfred, drive the 20 minutes and stay in Hornell. There's not a lot of selections in Alfred but I don't recommend this place. Dead bolt didn't work, the room smell very funky, couldn't find the TV remote and there was no WiFi password."

"No dead bolt for the security lock on the door, overhead light doesn't work, hot water for a shower was barely warmer than a swimming pool (The lady at the office said new water heaters 3 months ago)... Bathroom toilet very small and tight space. People stomping around all night long upstairs. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone even if the "price is right""

"Couldn't make it in the door blasted with cobwebs and spiders. When you get into the room it smells so bad. Bathroom is absolutely filthy. The bed feels like your laying on a brick wall. Would not recommend using their sheets or comforter. No coffee pot. Walls are broken, molding coming off doors are stained. Go home or sleep in your car."

"Solid place for a good price. The staff were helpful and kind. They aren't trying to be a 5-star resort. But the beds were clean; the room was nice. Especially if you're traveling in the service industry, this is a good spot."
