"Decorators Fabric custom cut a foam cushion for my couch while I waited. I went back the next day because I was unable to get the cushion back into the cover because the fabric of the cover kept sticking to the foam. They were kind enough to put the cushion in the cover for me while I waited at no charge. You don't get better customer service than these 2 experiences. I highly recommend them."

"They have an excellent selection of fabrics. Years ago they recovered the seat of a Stickley like old rocking chair. They initially made an error, and had no problem with correcting the error, and it came out great. Beware, they don't keep the hours noted on their door. They close at 3:30. Odd that they don't update their sign as a courtesy to customers, or put a note on the door to alert customers they are closing early for holidays. Curmudgeonly, but great products."

"Wish I could give them 0 stars. I worked with the Kingston store front (NJ is main store). Took 6 months to have 2 cushions and 2 pillows made for a bench, after I was told they weren't busy and it should be about a month. Also when I was shopping around for prices, I was told how much it would cost which seemed reasonable to me until I ordered and dropped off the fabric and paid my deposit to then find out what the actual price was, think they initially only quoted me the foam cushion and not the labor. Also didn't tell me the appropriate amount of fabric to drop off so I had to get more, which was something I ordered online so extra frustration that I paid shipping again. At about the 3 month mark, I was told my cushions were finally made and they just had to pick it up from the NJ location. Turns out that was someone else's order. Whenever I stopped in or called for an update, I was always told 'It should be in any day now.' When I finally got the cushions & pillows, the pillows were made too long so that they were several inches off from my seating area and look ridiculous as such; I even provided a very clear diagram that showed how I wanted the cushions (bottom & back) to sit on top of each other and specifically wrote the length of pillows & other dimensions. Also they added welting/cording to my items, which I specifically said I wanted smooth edges and not that. I returned the pillows to be shortened, and specifically asked how long it would take and that it would be a priority job over new jobs as it is fixing their mistake and I was told it should be a few weeks at most and that was because it would take about a week to bring it to the NJ store - it took 8 weeks to get my pillows corrected. They haven't done anything right! I expressed how frustrated I am and they merely said they sympathize with me. I said I should be receiving some sort of refund which the one person agreed but said the other person was the only one who could issue me a refund; the second person will not give me any partial refund and denies that I was lied to (all the false times I was told the items would be in and being completely misled from the beginning about expectations). He contradicted himself too by saying it is rare that people have to wait so long while he had more than once before blamed everything on the person who does the work and said that others have been waiting similarly long and that this has been an issue for a few years. Absolutely stay away!!! No customer service, they just talk nice and say what they want to get you to be a customer and it all goes south! I even talked to a manager or owner at the NJ store and he said I couldn't even be giving a partial refund and totally didn't care about my situation."
