"I was so happy to find Holland Pools to replace my pool liner. Dutch and Sheila are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The price was fair and best of all...they saved about 90% of the water! Definitely a win-win when you go to Holland Pools. Would highly recommend them. Thank you Dutch and Sheila!"
"I have been using Holland pools for a few years now. They are the best pool service around. They are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to pool chemistry, thus only having you add the necessary chemicals to your pool, saving you money. I recently had the liner replaced in my pool by them and the job they did was outstanding. I was extremely happy with the results and the price was extremely fair. Thank you to Holland Pools for making my pool beautiful again."
"I had Holland Pools as my in-ground pool installer and I would like to share the experience I had with this company. I chose Dutch because of his approach to a client, which was very different from the other contractors. He sat with me and my husband and explained to us the details of a pool installation, the difficulties it might present etc. He also let us know that he was the guy to do supervise the actual work and his wife, Sheila was 'the brain' of the company, doing all coordinating and communication. The job started in 2019, and ended in 2020. We hired Holland Pools to build in-ground pool and to install pavers around it. Between then and now we have faced several issues with our pool I'm listing below; 1. in 2019, right after the pool construction had ended, we started noticing substantial loss of water from the pool on a daily basis. Sheila was dismissive about this issue. She said it was normal evaporation, and everybody was adding water from a hose at that time of the year. We needed to prove water loss to her by taping the water level with duck tape after adding water from the hose and 12h-24h later, when water level was 3-4inch below the level from the day before. The issue turned out to be the underwater lights WERE NOT sealed and water was leaking through them. How that could happened that they forgot to seal the lights, I have no idea. Dutch fixed it later by diving in his diving gear and sealing it. 2. The next season (2020) after opening the pool there were two 2-3ft craters at the bottom of the pool, the liner was indented and the material under it sunk in some places. Holland Pools fixed that later by removing water from the pool and adding more concrete. 3. The pavers around the pool were installed in 2020.After the job was done we asked the company to clean up after themselves. There was a small hill ( about 1 ton) of gravel and some pavers debris. Sheila seemed to not understand what completion of a job meant to us and she started insinuating in her text messages that we did't have enough funds to pay them while she was "bending over backwards" for us, to complete the job. Eventually they cleaned the immediate area of the pool, but obviously we didn't part our ways on the good terms. 4. After opening the pool in 2021 we realized that the liner was coming off its tracks and hanging into water. The gap was about 4 ft long in 2 spots. Holland pool fixed it. 5. After opening the pool in 2022 ( 3rd year using the pool)same issue with liner coming off the track occurred, this time in different spots. Holland Pools said they didn't have manpower and wouldn't be fixing it. Also patio stones around the pool started getting loose and coming off. Not one, or two stones, but the whole side of the pool. You can see it on the pics. This time we did not contact Holland Pools and decided to hire somebody else to fix it. 6. The last issue ; the pool is not leveled properly and it slopes towards the deep side. You can see it looking at the liner pattern. Horizontal liner pattern doesn't align with water line. We are the couple in our 50s and 60s and we don't use our patio or our pool extensively so the issues we encounter every season since we had built the pool and surroundings are not because we do crazy parties there. It is disappointing that after paying Holland Pools almost $100,000 pre-Covid money we have so many issues with it. Pros; they are very responsive, Dutch is a nice man Cons; I wish they did the job of better quality."
"Used Holland Pools to replace the vinyl liner to my inground 16x32 pool today with great results. When the crew showed up to my home on time and immediately began setting up the portable pools in my front yard for water transfer, I was amazed at how efficient they got it done. I pointed out a few areas of concern that required vermiculite repair, and they got it done. The new liner looks amazing and the service cost was fair. Just be patient with getting an install date set, and realistic when the work is getting done. I had to clean and touch up my coping when they were completed, but that was kind of expected due to all the work and drafting hose hanging over the edge. If they can’t do the job for whatever reason, they will tell you. To give a bad review because of someone’s sense of entitlement is not fair to this small business."
"I have been using Holland pools for some 12-15yrs now. 1st time my above ground pool just couldn’t get clear. Other pool stores tried selling me all sorts of chemicals and even suggested a complete refill as a solution. Holland made a few inexpensive suggestions and in 24hrs my water looked perfect. Moving on to a different house, my inground pool needed a new liner this year. Holland again did a great job, saved my water and cash$$$ and installed a beautiful, wrinkle-free liner. The guys installed my new liner perfectly and earlier than expected. Holland pools is the only place I trust for any of my pool needs. I drive past several other pool stores just to go to Holland. Dutch, the install guys and especially Sheila really go out of the way to do the best job they can. Thank you so much."
