Best Western Palmyra Inn & Suites

"We were charged two nights at this Best Western yet only stayed one. Extremely overpriced for even one night with a tepid breakfast and a hot tub that didn't work. When I found the extra night charge on my credit card statement, I notified the corporate office. I have yet to hear back. In 30 days, it becomes a legal issue."

"We had a little issue with the heater in our room (apparently someone got mad at the knob and ripped it off!), so we were unable to turn up the heat. It was a little chilly, so we called the desk and Shellie came to our rescue. She diagnosed the problem and offered us a different room OR she would bring us a nice little heater. We didn't want to move rooms, so we opted for the heater and she brought it and an extra comforter as well. Loved it. She was great, the room is good and the location is perfect. Win Win. Thanks Shellie!"

"This hotel is about 30 min outside of Rochester but we personally loved being outside of the city. Rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was awesome (and different between the two days) and I appreciated many little details that they thought of to make the stay more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again!"

"This is a warning to anyone thinking about booking this hotel: it is DIRTY. When we checked-in there was a note at the front desk about their current housekeeping shortage. The main staircase and hallways were obviously not vacuumed for quite some time. When we arrived in our suite both of the beds had crumbs and hairs on the sheets. The bathroom smelled of urine and also had hair all over the floor. I asked the front desk agent that the room be cleaned while we went to dinner but she said they had no housekeeping staff, so she moved us to another room. The second room at first glance seemed slightly better than the first, so we kept it because it was late and everyone was hungry and tired. At midnight I had the unfortunate experience of feeling something between the sheets with my toes which ended up being a dirty sock left there by a previous guest. The linens had clearly never been changed. If my kids weren’t asleep I would have left right then. We awoke early in the morning and as we were leaving I noticed that housekeeping was “cleaning” some rooms. Outside of each of these rooms were the piles of dirty linens which included only towels. No sheets. No pillow cases. No blankets. Obviously it’s standard practice at this hotel to never change the sheets. We left immediately without breakfast as I didn’t want to risk eating anything from such a dirty hotel."

"If you're a member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints you'll love this Hotel. The Hotel is in the middle of all our church history sites. Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Hot tub isn't working on my visit. Management was extremely helpful, I had messed up on my reservation and Deedra N. helped me book a room, God bless her. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did. Also breakfast was yummy."
