The UPS Store

"Called this store over and over to ask if a notary was working and no one picks up. Went to the store and waited in line for 15 mins only to be told the notary will only notarize from 11 to 4. It was 4:20pm and the notary was present (I have used this notary a dozen times) but would not take 20 seconds to sign a damn form."

"I needed to get a document notarized, this store gave me the run-around, just to not do it properly in the end. I came to this store, to get my Student Visa Application notarized. During my first visit, he said that I would need an Affidavit of Affirmation for him to notarize it, no one in my program or at my school expressed that I needed this and were confused, but eventually found what the man doing the notary could have been alluding too and signed it for me. I went back and he said that they couldn't sign that I had to, I left to re-print and signed it...then he said, that I couldn't sign it, but I had to do it in front of him...very unclear with instructions and made this process infinitely more difficult. After all of this, the man doing the notary didn't even notarize the document that I needed him too. He notarized my Affidavit of Affirmation, instead of notarizing what I came to him for, which was the Student Visa Application (he could have done both as well but chose not). I repeatedly inquired before leaving whether he needed to notarize the Visa Application and how I should sign it if he wouldn't be witnessing the notarization. His response was that I could sign it anywhere; it didn't matter. This lack of clarity and guidance was indicative of incompetence. This whole process, because the notary is only available from 9-12 and I am on a college schedule took 2-3 DAYS, to complete just for him to not do what I needed. Eventually, I had to go elsewhere and they PROPERLY stamped, signed, and embossed my documents and the whole process took a total of 15 minutes, if that. Will never come to this store again and will not recommend it for anyone needing a document notarized...very incompetent and unnecessarily difficult process that can easily be done elsewhere."

"Pretty horrible people working here. Extremely rude, and of absolutely no help. Apparently you are unable to package your own package with your own tape inside the store?? UPS corporate said this was absolutely not a thing when called so definitely just scummy business practices to get you to pay for their overpriced packaging service, hopefully corporate addresses this. Go to another UPS store and save yourself a headache"
