"Exactly what we needed after a long day hiking. The showers were steaming hot for the whole 8 minutes ($.25/min). The kitchen is communal ( the fridge needs to be cleared out). There are even 2 inverted climbing walls to practice."

"Crashed here one night during a hiking trip, perfect for that. The drive-in sites are small, and most suitable for just going to sleep. Walk-in campsites seemed more suitable for hanging out, cooking, etc. Amenities are great. Would stay again."
"This campground is oriented to climbers but we just wanted to be near the climbing to hike and watch climbing in action. We were two parents and an 8-year old. This is a well kept, clean, beautiful campground. It's very quiet at night because everyone wakes up very early to be the first on the rocks. We used a walk-in site which was relatively secluded. The communal fire pit is great for meeting new people and staying warm on a cool night. There is even a small fridge at the communal dining area!! I can't wait to go back!"
"Great camp space, price is right.. have been to places with better rest room designs .. but it was clean and the water hot. .. Would have like more spacing between the car camping spaces, but as they said it more for van campers the car camping, again they are doing the best with what they have been given. It worked and is close to all the great places in the new Paltz area the mountains, rail trails and the walk way over the Hudson."
