"Perfect stay! We stayed here for a week and it couldn't have been lovelier. The staff was friendly and helpful- Erin was a gem. Love the history and charm of the place. We stayed in the Chelsea and it was beautiful, comfortable, and spacious with all the necessary amenities- shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a steamer, a first aid kit, coffee maker. The lobby has water, hot tea, ice, a microwave, and popcorn, as well as ample seating in a gorgeous setting. Check-in instructions were provided before arrival and everything was electronic so no need for keys or hotel cards. Location was great- close to Elmwood, downtown, etc. All in all, we're happy we chose the Edward for our stay."

"Stayed here for the 2nd time, this visit in The Plum Room. Like my first visit staying in The Green Suite, the room was immaculate, the bed luxurious and the most comfortable one I have ever slept in and the vibe is just top notch. The little complimentary snacks left in the room for each guest really hit the spot too late at night. As for price? It’s cheaper than the majority of the other places in Buffalo yet better, cleaner and far more upscale than all of them. If you are staying in Buffalo look no further this is the only logical choice."

Reviews gave me an idea of what to expect and they met and exceeded expectations. Oh - the host was excellent, helpful and friendly. Easy to reach and even helped with a restaurant recommendation. "Such a clean room, very comfortable bed and blankets. I stayed in the Chelsea and the bed was huge. The bathroom was also so gorgeous--shampoo, conditioner, body wash all included. The owner reached out after my first day and asked what cleaning service I'd like, very kind! I absolutely would recommend The Edward to anyone staying in Buffalo. 1 block away is Elmwood Village, a cute street of shops and tons of small neighborhoods that branch off to walk through, particularly during the holidays. Very safe area as well."

"We had a great stay @ The Edward!! The location was perfect as we came to Buffalo for a college visit with my daughter. It was so convenient & we were given a passcode to enter the hotel & our gorgeous room easily. The hotel & our room was beautifully decorated. We instantly felt welcome & right at home. The bed was incredibly comfortable & we had a great nights sleep. Even though our stay was very short, it was definitely very sweet & we will look forward to staying @ the Edward again & never hesitate to recommend this diamond in the rough!"
