Hilton Garden Inn Buffalo Downtown

"I thought everything about this hotel was fantastic. Location was great..right in the heart of the city with a Metro station right outside the door. All of the staff were amazingly friendly especially the staff at the restaurant during a snow storm where they were short staffed. Rooms were nice and comfortable and clean. Fitness center was big and clean."

"Stayed here for 3 nights as we were in town for a youth hockey tournament. The hotel was nicer than what I was expecting as I felt like the pictures online weren't great. The rooms were spacious and overall clean. You do have to request housekeeping which seems to be the norm now. I felt safe and room key needed to access all parts of hotel which I liked. I also felt that despite being right in the city, it was pretty quiet in our room. The only slight downside was that the front desk was not overly friendly and i spoke to a few different people and all very serious and not up to chat. Despite that, I would say book and have a great time!"

"During my stay the staff were really helpful, the room was absolutely beautiful, clean but not overly scented, comfortable bedding, enjoyed the bath tub, smart choices of shower amenities, great location in Buffalo, plenty of walkable great restaurants, the workout room downstairs had everything I needed, and there's even a freaking pool in the basement. No joke. And if that sounds weird, it was a really nice well-lit space and a great looking pool! See my pictures. Next time I'll remember the bathing suit! "We were on the 10th floor and had more then 1 room. They definitely could use a basic upgrade with paint and wall paper. Our room was missing carpet at transition so there were little nails sticking out, sucked with kids. Location is very good but the trolley system was half working and parking can be a pain if you don't get it reserved."

"The room was nice, and that was about it. There is some serious price gouging happening here. The price of the same room from one night to the next fluctuated by $370. There's no parking, and as others have stated, guests are directed to a private lot that is a block away from the hotel. You can tell crime in the parking lot happens frequently as has already been described. There was a couple filing a police report as we left. Besides the person who checked us in and the hotel cleaning staff, all other employees were rude and unhelpful. I'd never stay at this location again and encourage people staying in Buffalo to look elsewhere. Buffalo is too great of a city to have its reputation tarnished by shady business. I was a Hilton Honors member and they've lost my business for good."
