"What a cool spot to spend the night. I stayed in the Erie Suite and boy was it huge, and even luxurious! I also learned that the owner of the first glass factory in the US resided in the mansion for a number of years. Quite a few oddities spread out and a few hidden doorways and passages found throughout the house. A most unique and luxurious stay! Wonderful hosts too!"
"This has to be the world's best BnB. The owner Mark is a riot, we had beers with him and he chauffeured us to breakfast in his antique limo while he told us about his world travels. This place is absolutely unique. We stayed in the honeymoon suite, it was much bigger then the photos showed and gorgeously decorated. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an adventure. It's obscure in all the right ways. I will deffinilty be back, WAY better then any 5 star hotel I've been to."
"Erie Mansion B&B, is a home run! The property itself will stun you with the decor and themes that decorate the whole house. The owner, Mark, is a story himself. Sitting with this gentleman and listening to the life stories kept me entertained besides the ghost hunting we did, lol. A friend and I were sitting in a room upstairs and the hair on my arms stood up, seconds later, we heard a low growl, or groan, come from the hallway. My wife awoke to a dark shadow next to the bed and heard low classical music being played on an organ, at 5am...i was fast asleep next to her. One of the greatest short trips we had taken, party of 6, with wine tasting on the way to Clyde....A MUST DO..... One must be a little open to some things found on the property. email me if you would like, we are going back, Greg Kramer"
"Very interesting place. Mark the owner was very friendly. Stayed with a group of friends and we had a lot of fun. Suites were all fun and comfortable."
"There ain't no place like this place anyplace! Not to be repeatedly redundant but it is UNIQUE! It is a destination in itself. Mark has ingeniously restored this Historical landmark in such a way that preserves the original home while creating individual suites that are furnished and decorated in too many genre's to describe here. Besides, I wouldn't want to spoil the SURPRISE! Well worth the run from anywhere."
