"BETTER THAN ORIGINAL! I was amazed to see the restoration of my brand new table that was destroyed during my move. When my movers dis-assembled the table, they mistakenly drove the screws from the base through the tabletop, causing it to look like it had been riddled with bullets. I was so upset that I almost threw the table out believing it was irreparable. The table had been discontinued so it was also irreplaceable. I found Oscar by doing a google search and reading reviews. I decided to give it a shot and was shocked when I was told that he could do the repair. I was completely stunned with delight to see the masterpiece that came back. Oscar had to strip the entire tabletop, fill the holes and then re-finish it. When he delivered it I said to him that it looked better than when I bought it. He explained to me that when he removed the original finish he found beautiful natural markings and marbling in the wood and used a slightly lighter finish to highlight the beautiful wood. He is an artist and clearly driven by his passion. I thanked him and told him that I could see this was a labor of love. I am so happy to have discovered Oscar Deco. His team is also awesome and made everything super easy!"

"While looking for an upholsterer to restore our antique sofa, we happened upon the Yelp reviews of Oscar Deco, a family owned and operated business specializing in restoration of all kinds of furniture and wood work. Up to this point, we hadn’t seen anything approaching the raves this lovely family has received for their work. And the raves were well deserved as we found out upon completion of our nearly one hundred year old sofa. It is an absolute work of art! From the very beginning we were charmed by Oscar’s wife Aida, as well as Oscar himself. They could not have been nicer or more accommodating. We brought them several swatches of possible fabrics. Ultimately, we purchased a beautiful mohair fabric in a store near their establishment. We had spent weeks looking for the perfect fabric and we don’t think we could have made a better choice. And they agreed. The entire piece was stripped down to the “bones” of the sofa. Much of the old padding and horsehair was disintegrating and the springs were an absolute mess. Oscar, Aida and their staff went to work and restored it beautifully. We highly recommend Oscar Deco for their fine workmanship and wonderful attention to detail.
