Grant Island Upstate Waterfront Cabin Rentals

"What an incredible place to get away! For transparency, we originally booked Stabbin Cabin #1 but upgraded to #2. We stayed at the end of the season (late October) and absolutely loved the quiet, secluded feeling that timing provided! The island and area as a whole are so beautiful, we said on multiple occasions it felt like living in a painting! Still waters, coated with fog at night with complete silence aside from the occasional loon call… it was a truly serene setting! The cabin itself (#2) had every amenity we could imagine and was incredibly comfortable! The heater provided plenty of warmth and there was a heated blanket for extra comfort while watching movies on the projector! The bathroom and shower were a short, well-lit walk away and were clean and comfortable! We look forward to staying again soon! The jetskis, ATVS, and other warmer weather activities seem like they would add even more excitement to an already phenomenal stay! John Paul was a wonderful host- friendly, helpful, and super responsive! He outlined where to meet for the ride over clearly and made sure we were settled in okay. He was available immediately anytime we had a question but we otherwise felt as if we were the only ones on the island our entire stay! Highly, highly recommend a visit to Grant Island!! The value for the experience is nothing short of outstanding."

"Grant Island was an amazing place to stay. Our glamping tent felt like we were in a treehouse with a great view of the lake. The weather was less than stellar but we still went out on the boat and caught a couple fish. JP made sure we had plenty of propane for the little buddy heater and the electric blanket was a game changer. We will be back to check out all the fun in the summer!!! Can’t wait!!!"

"Let's start by saying that John was beyond accommodating for our trip, down to the dates and the arrival time. The "glamping tent", was beautiful and nicely situated near the edge of the island enabling us to enjoy the lake views. It got down into the low 40s while we were there and you would never know it because the heat source for the tent was just perfect. The bathroom and shower house appeared new, beautifully decorated and best of all were clean. The electric john boat was easy to operate and provided the availability for us to come and go as we pleased. The only downfall was that we didn't catch one fish, although that could have been operator error...We will definitely be planning our next trip!"

"Such an amazing unique experience in the stabin cabin 2! It was cozy and off grid while having all the amenities you could want, including a projector for Netflix and guitar hero. There’s a lake facing balcony for morning coffee, with a giant tree going through it. The boat rides around the lake were more than enough, and there’s hammocks all around the property to relax with a book. And, the cutest dog ever! Thank you JP, we will be back!"

"Probably one of the coolest vacation rental experiences I've ever had. On its own private island, this place has everything you can need or want to truly "get away" from it all. Had a blast riding the pontoon boat to and from the main cottage and around the lake. Was also able to bring our ATV's and SXS's and park them in the main parking area on land. Parking area is safe and secure for leaving your toys on the main land. Thanks for everything Grant Island, already working to book our next trip! Brandon"
