"The price was very inexpensive, the rooms were comfortable and clean. That’s all that’s really important to me as a business traveler. No amenities to speak of, which is fine, I wouldn’t expect any for the price. I saw someone staying with a dog so I assume it’s pet friendly. The only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is that there was no coffee, which is a bit unusual in my experience."

"Rooms were small out dated stains on the sheets and blankets, good thing we take our own. Couldnt hear the owner as he was speaking through a small hole right beside the loudest ice machine, and it smelled of not sure what. Location is handy."

"We stayed here last minute for a week, the host and (I am assuming) his wife were very welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless and the beds were comfy! The vibe at the motel is safe and quiet. The price is excellent and I would recommend this place to anyone!"

"This motel was so bare-bones that even my usually too-tolerant husband has declared it not a place he’d stay in again. There have clearly been attempt to clean it up: the paint is reasonably fresh; there’s new siding on the building, newish carpet, and new upholstery on the chairs (if in unfortunately retro rust/gold/avocado). The fridge is great, with a freezer that was large enough to freeze two large McDonald’s cups so we’d have cold water on our trek to Ottawa. But…the attempts at sprucing up the rooms are inconsistent and careless, which rather undermines their efforts. The finish has worn off the wooden frames of the chairs in leprous patches, the new paint was apparently thinned down, then slapped on so carelessly that there are drip marks, and most of the chrome coating has peeled from the remaining three of four toilet-paper holders. The corroding towel rack, designed to hold four three-piece sets looks rather pathetic with just the two washcloths and undersized bathtowels provided. Amenities consist of two wrapped half-dollar-sized slivers of soap—no tiny bottles or packets of shampoo, or box of facial tissues (the opening in the nice newish granite counters is boarded over). Although the room was supposedly non-smoking, it initially reeked of smoke. However, it wasn’t so bad after we came back from dinner, and the a.c. had been running for a while with the windows closed. I suspect that the smokiness might be a result of someone smoking outside, near the open windows. So: if all you need is a reasonably clean place to spend the night and aren’t fussy, this is good enough."

"Gross on several levels. Staff was inflexible and unaccommodating. The hall and lobby smelled so rank that one of our guests walked in, smelled the lobby and walked out. The condition of the room appeared to be okay, until we turned down the sheets and found dirty, stained sheets with black hairs all over them. Since we arrived late, I think that room may have been rented a couple of times earlier in the evening. Had there been any other room available in Watertown that night we would have never booked a place like this. Even knowing what we were walking into, when we saw for ourselves, we literally slept IN OUR TRUCK out in the parking lot. If you are concerned about cleanliness and health, look elsewhere."
