"Just adopted two kittens from the Dutchess County SPCA and I couldn’t have been more impressed. The facilities were amazingly clean, the animals are clearly well cared for, and they did their due diligence before handing us our new kittens. Every staff member we interacted with was so professional and informative. If you’re serious about adding a pet to your home I would ask you to seriously consider any of the animals here. "I am always cautious about shelters and 'rescue' establishments, but I witnessed there is true care for animals they have there. It is clean and staff is knowledgeable and care about matches... Not just shoveling a dog out the door."

"This place is a joke! I met a dog fell in love with him. Just to have them call all of my references and my vet. All went great I get a call to come pick up my new fur baby. There’s just one thing even tho my application was approved they can’t let me adopt him! All because of my boyfriends cats that I don’t live with, I just put on my application to be honest. As if I would allow my dog to be miserable! Getting my hopes all the way up, just to send me away in tears! After 3 days of anticipation and excitement waiting there call! They need to get on the same page there not even my cats."

Please go on the website and fill the adoption application so you will have access to meeting the dogs in person. I’ve to wait for mine so I waited to everyone an heads up. I took pictures of a few dogs but others wouldn’t stay still but still are good dogs ❤️"
