"The place is 70 years old or more, folks. Built as The Dutch Patroon, it has fallen into disrepair typical of that era's motels. If you want quality and security, unfortunately it's necessary to spend the bucks for modern amenities and service. (Former motel owner from Hyde Park)"

"Very impressed by their efficiency rooms. Great, clean space with everything functional. The bathroom was small, but good enough to do what you need to in there. I also thought the location was wonderful right by a diner, movie theater, FDR House, and shopping plazas."

"My husband and I received the worst service and we're horrified by the condition of the rooms. We were sent to room 115 first which was unmade and in complete shambles. We asked for an owner after being accused of smoking in the room and denied a second night after traveling here for a chemo treatment and was denied that. The housekeeper then said that she was the owner. Many pictures were taken of the room and the room we were first sent to and I will be posting all of them as well as calling the better business bureau to report this. No screens in the Windows, the floors were not vacuumed and much more. If I were not so sick I would have run but to be sent away feeling the way I do is a shame and they should be ashamed of themselves. A much needed building inspector is in need of a visit here. If cameras were checked they would see my husband went out side to smoke. The decorations outside of beer cans and joints in the ashtray are a great view as well. Slander of my character. Stay clear of this place and my husband is speaking to several guests now and getting their names and responses as of now to complete this report."
