"Honestly just put off by the cashier. I parked in front of the store. I am aware it says "10 minutes parking for Market customers". I wanted to grab some sodas, but I also wanted some coffee from the shop next door. I grabbed my cane and started towards the coffee shop to grab that first. The cashier (owner?) came rushing out of the Market and berated me about it being 10 minute parking and him not having parking for his customers even after I told him I was coming in to get stuff from him but just also wanted a coffee. That wasn't even the issue, though it was off-putting to say the least. After I got my coffee, I put it in my car because I couldn't hold that, my cane, and the sodas I wanted from the Market. I went in and grabbed my sodas and some popcorn for my niece. At the counter, he made a comment about me not having a coffee with me. It felt accusatory and unnecessary. I will not be patronizing this store again."
"I remember when the store first opened, when I moved from Brooklyn to Corn Hill. Very convenient, a little overpriced, but expected bc of the location & it was a new business. The owner was very pleasant at first. Shared his back story about opening the store, his family etc. As time past, I would receive an pleasant welcoming from the owner, or an attitude I guess depending on the day. Almost 10 years later I moved back to Corn Hill, & the owner appeared to be more miserable, unpleasant, sometimes w/ a disgusting tone and attitude. The store is so unorganized, & crowded which is just a reflection of the owner’s mental state. I truly hope he finds happiness & be more respectful. After my last interaction with him, I decided I will no longer be a customer."
"If you purchase any imported/craft beer from this store be sure to check the EXPIRATION DATE on the item before you walk out of the store. In my last beer purchase (less than a month ago) I was wondering why my beer tasted flat (that "burn"/"ahhh" taste was absent) and wondering why it didn't make a foam. This is my go-to beer brand so I knew something was off. Something told me to check the date on the bottle, I saw that it expired in December 2021(which was 7 months ago). I have been purchasing my beer from Wegmans but decided to support a local business instead. I'll continue purchasing from Wegmans knowing they will have fresh stock."
"Local convenience store located within walking distance anywhere within the Corn Hill neighborhood. Not open 24 hours and they don't sell gas."
