"Normally this Tops location is my go to in Rochester! But today, there was an extremely rude and disrespectful cashier at the self checkout around 12 PM who seemingly accused my partner and I of stealing when we were trying to figure out the self check machine. She snatched my partner’s groceries from her hands (I am not in great health and try to avoid shared surfaces for sanitary reasons as much as possible to avoid any extra contamination due to my HEALTH not because I’m a thief) and rudely said “YOU HAVE TO PUT THEM DOWN HERE” and said “you only scanned TWO items” when we clearly were trying to scan the third, and I said “I’m not trying to steal I promise” and she just rolled her eyes at us. Not sure if it’s because we’re a LGBT couple that she got an attitude/scrutinized us in specific. She’s old and has grey/yellow hair that is curly and glasses. Like Ms. Girl, I promise you I’m not trying to steal a 4$ item, the economy ain’t that bad and maybe instead of copping an attitude immediately and making it about your little power trip as a self check cashier, you could be nice to people."
"The woman at the deli always lets out a loud sigh of annoyance when you ask for the meat shaved. Yes it’s more work, but it’s your job. This is the 3rd time, stick to wegmans. Never understood why people have a job they clearly despise."
"There's some good deals to be found but, Employees don't pay attention to growing mold in the produce sections. Rude employees that can't keep comments about customers in."
"I've shown up 3 times at 11:50p and the doors where locked. I get out of work at 11:30p and rush here to grab one thing. And they close the doors early. Tonight an employee saw me run up to the door and saw me coming and quickly locked it and went beyond my eye sight. Very rude and terrible customer service."
"OMG, I was ru ni g late and in a hurry.MS. VANESSA was heading out on break, but came back to give me great service. That's a special kind of staff that puts customers 1st."
