Aloft Buffalo Downtown 500 Pearl Street, Buffalo, NY 14202

"Room was super spacious, front desk staff were wonderful and location was great. There was even a bowling alley and (popular) bar in the hotel. One unfortunate fact: the fish restaurant located at the ground floor of the building (separate from the hotel itself). The “fish market” stench engulfed the entire lobby and even seeped into the upstairs hallways through the elevator shaft."

"I really loved the modernly decorated rooms and the view was to die for! Beds were comfortable. Wasn’t told upfront about the $150 per day hold for incidentals which was an inconvenience but overall it was one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. 3 restaurants/bars and access to downtown. $17/day Parking fee was high but my car was safe. The manager went above and beyond to accommodate us and rectified the little bug situation by changing our room and giving us breakfast vouchers. He even offered to help us move our things to the new room. Will definitely stay again!"

"The hotel rooms are on the upper floors. I had a fabulous view over Lake Eerie, I watched the light of the sunrise fall on Canada. But I didn't sleep well. Noise from the nightclub in the building was still going at 3.38am Sunday morning. I slept through some of it, but it was too close and noise for a hotel to offer a good night's sleep to me."

"Love this Hotel. Staff is amazing! Haley greeted us with a wonderful smile and was so helpful with my reservation (comprised of 4 separate reservations totaling 6 nights). She was able to assign me my favorite room; and was delightful every day when we saw her at the front desk. Cannot recommend this hotel, and especially Haley, for their outstanding services."

"The view was beautiful, rooms very clean and beds super comfortable. We enjoyed the decor and very modern room. However staff was awful. Very unfriendly all of them. The only exception was the bartender on the roof who let us in before it was open to see the view. They didn’t explain anything about the hotel upon arrival. They just seemed like we were an inconvenience to them. A housekeeper came in our room early in the morning on a non check out day. We were looking forward to the arcade and bowling was one of the reasons we picked the hotel. It was closed the first day and our second day didn’t open till 4:00 then it was an additional $60 to bowl. Not a very family friendly place. Arcade was fun once it finally opened."
