"I went in to check it out and look at a engagement /wedding ring. I had a 25k budget. I walked in in my uniform which showed I was probably well off. I wanted to see they treat people and had an older men's gold ring to sell also. It wasn't worth much but wanted to see how they treated me. The ladies treated me nice took pictures of it and said the buyer would call me. I proceeded to look at rings. 2 weeks later no call from buyer. Stopped in today after being at gym. Totally different experience, rude and buyer still wasn't in. They definitely judged me by my attire and we're not interested in helping me. I walked out and will never be back. One of their sales people lost a very big commission."
"James was super kind and helpful. We had a ring for 8 months and went to several places for help with not much help, but we ended up selling here and are happy we did."
"James and Chris were absolutely amazing, extremely knowledgeable, kind and made the experience so pleasant! Thank you!"
"I had a large assortment of gold, silver, coins, and jewelry to sell. James looked at all my items, explaining why he could not purchase some and offering a very fair price for what he could purchase. He answered all my questions and put me at ease with my sale. I highly recommend going to Raleigh Gold if you have gold or silver to sell."
"I was highly disappointed by this place. I had an appointment with an employee named Nancy - this was the first time I had ever pursued selling a piece of jewelry and was trying to sell an old engagement ring that was 0.3 carats. Nancy didn't walk me through what to expect, only wanted to condescendingly tell me how buyers get distracted by big brand jewelry stores in the mall and therefore pay a premium. She was ambiguous and vague regarding potential offer stating she would offer more than $300 "just to do business with me" but at the same time indicated they weren't interested in anything smaller than 1 carat. Basically acted as though it would be a pity offer. I repeatedly indicated she could be clear and just state that it wasn't feasible for them but instead she tried to turn it back on me that I had too high of expectations and any offer would be incongruent with what I wanted. I simply stated it would be ideal if jewelry could get 1/3 the originial cost (which would be $1200) but was interested in off loading it for really anything, so it didn't potentially go unused but she couldn't give any clarity. She pretended to be nice but talked in circles and only came off as incredibly condescending. I would never buy from this store. I ended up going to JewelRecycle on Wake Forest Rd who similarly offered $300 for the diamond and bands and the employee was so informative and welcoming. Same offer but COMPLETELY different feel and attidude. I recommend anyone go there instead of this place."
