Those retail jewelry stores then double the price to you, the customer, for any custom work done. Going to him is like going directly to a wholesaler. In other words, you can get the same quality, custom jewelry work done for 1/2 the price. I had these 2 pieces done. I inherited them from my mother and they were rings. Mr. McSheehan made them into pendants for me. He did a great job! It's hard to believe they were actually rings once! I just brought a 3rd piece to him. It cost me about $115 to get a piece done. It would have cost me at least double that if I'd brought them to a retail jewelry store. I highly recommend going to McSheehand Jewelers for everything from replacing a watch battery to custom work on more expensive items."
