"Dr. McAvoy is such an amazing and great doctor. She delivered both of my sons via c- section successfully and I can't say enough how special she is to me and my family. Throughout my pregnancies she showed so much care and concern for both my babies and I. She made sure that I was in the best health possible and was always accessible anytime I needed her. She is honest and frankly everything I could ever ask for in a doctor, and I'm so grateful to have had her in my life. She is one of a kind❤️"

"Absolutely horrible experience at my last appointment. To begin with the office called me to verify insurance coverage. I gave them new insurance as a result of a job change. When I arrived at my appointment, the old insurance was still showing. Sheesh! When Dr. McEvoy entered the exam room, she had to be reminded of medications I currently take. I asked for a weight comparison from last year, she had tp leave the room and check her computer. So it’s obvious she doesn’t consult your chart before seeing you. She made small talk that was awkward. I remarked that I had recently found a new job 5 blocks from my house, she asked me if I took public transportation. She insisted she had given me a breast exam and only performed it when I insisted she hadn’t, as if I wouldn’t remember someone touching my breasts all of five minutes ago. The Pap smear produced blood which she was quick to say was not from my uterus but was vague on where it was from- I’ve had Pap smears for over 40 years, this is the first that even produced blood. I will certainly be seeking out another physician for future care."

"Dr. Mcavoy is the best!!! She was patient with my post due date delivery. She and nurse Windy at Methodist made my birthing experience very smooth (wish I could say that about the hospital stay). Dr. Mcavoy's bed side manner is excellent. She honestly kept it real for me. Thank you Doctor."
