"As a woman it is nerve-racking to be on the search for a GYN to make you feel comfortable and have good bedside manner in order to build a good patient-provider relationship. I was hoping to have a good experience on my first visit to this office, as it came highly recommended (Dr. Miller did at least). Making an appointment was easy and the ladies at the front were pleasant, as well as the medical assistant who brought me to the exam room. Dr. Nadell's treatment of me as a new patient was very disappointing. He did not do an appropriate breast exam, he did not use a speculum for the pap smear. When I further consulted on the reason for my visit, family planning and contemplating surgical measures he said I was not a candidate and told me to tell my husband to get a vasectomy. I went ahead and said but doc, I want this for myself, he said flat out no. There was no follow-up call for results, and I am unable to access the portal for results. I won't even go into the details of how demeaned I felt as a patient, woman and a plus size female. Absolutely disappointed, and really considered whether if to put myself out there and be honest in such a post. It has been a few months and I really needed to speak to others as I wondered if I overreacted. I don't think I did overreact, or see something that wasn't there. I just know I won't be back to see him ever again."
