Northwell Health Imaging at Garden City

"I have not had as many good experiences lately. The medical industry has changed and us oldtimers must get with the new program. Regarding Northwell Imaging in Garden City, I WAS PLEASANTLY surprised. The wait was not long, EVERY staff member was courteous, concerned and informed. They won my trust. I am COMPLETELY happy and will always choose Garden City first. My next appointment is with Lake Success. Garden City is my preference, however, their next appointment available is not good for my schedule. AND, so, Lake Success will get an opportunity to win me over as well!"

"Not worth one star. My past review of January 2022 was deleted. I was injured severely by the tech doing an MRI. It’s almost a year since the injury and I still am unable to walk normally and am in pain with every step I take. She caused a torn hamstring. I really was treated terribly like a prisoner entering a prison. Then the MRI tech refused to help me get up after the MRI and screamed at me to raise my leg and that I have to leave. Not only could I not see because they make you remove eyeglasses but they put me in a sheet sealed mattress that had a triangle pillow like protrusion at the head and under the knees, and could not pull the pillow out from under my knees because it was attached to the mattress and all was covered by a sealed sheet. Afterward I could not find this pillow set up for sale for MRIs anywhere online. It must be experimental and very cheap. It definitely is not good but injurious to patients already suffering from an injury. These people do not know what they are doing. They injure people who are already injured seeking medical assistance to get better. This place is clearly ran by business people without any medical training or patient care interests. Healing is definitely not their business. You go in injured seeking help and leave in a far worse condition. Satanic is what I described to the manager over the phone."

"Worked there for 4 years and was a PT twice. Excellent all around. World class organization. Radiology staff was extremely informative and pleasant. They even expedited a request for me to get scanned quicker without having to wait since surgery was that afternoon. My mom goes here every year for her Diagnostic Mammo / US."

"First appointment they didn’t have my prescription so after a long & pointless conversation about how they should contact the patient prior to the day of procedure, I was turned away. Front desk was rude, passive & unsympathetic. Next available Sat appointment was one month away at 8am. Appointment card said to arrive at 7:30. Phone call night before told me to arrive at 7:15. When I got there (on time) I was told that I cant enter building before 7:45. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER! Again they were rude & dismissive. Waited in my car for 30 minutes wasting my time. FIND ANOTHER IMAGING CENTER if you can. They just don't care about their patients."
