"The experience was great and people were nice. Yes, the atmosphere was nice. However their whole process is not entirely honest.. Reason I say this because this is my first time going where I had to go a second time because they “saw something”. I go in the second time, and of course there was nothing there. But guess what I get a bill for $200. It’s just a little funny to me that the first time a radiologist who does this all day long saw something and then the second time sees nothing. I feel that they try to make you come back just so they could get more money out of you because they know 9 times out of 10 the insurance won’t cover. You then have to come out of pocket. Not to mention my primary physician never got the results. First and last time going here!"

"This was my first ever mammogram and I'm so so soooo grateful I decided to make the appointment at Pure. You truly feel like you're in a spa. Clean, zen and beautiful, I felt like all that was missing was a glass of mimosa lol. The receptionist was very sweet. Linda did my mammogram and Gina my sono and they were AMAZING! I was so worked up and nervous after hearing horror stories from other women, but I can assure you the entire experience was pleasant! Mammo + Pleasant= who would've thought?! If you're looking for a different experience other than the franchise radiology places, you won't regret booking with Pure!"

"I don't write reviews unless I have something great to say, and I do. I have not gone for my annual mammogram in over 8 years because of fear. Fear of finding something out that I will have to deal with. Stupid? Yes, but that’s the fact of it. Anyway, I was in Roosevelt Field Mall and met Lisa who worked at a Kiosk for Pure Mammography, which is located inside the mall itself. She encouraged me to go for my mammogram. She was very compassionate and understanding of my fears. So, on September 7 I went in. I was very scared and nervous but the staff there on that day was wonderful. On Monday September 11th I received a call from Paige at Pure. She explained that they wanted me to come back in for more pictures of my left breast because of an asymmetry. I panicked. In 10 minutes, I went from “I have breast cancer and I’m going to lose my hair from chemo to, I’m going to die.” Irrational yes, but it’s how I felt. Paige said to come in right away when she could hear the fear in my voice. They took me in immediately and I saw Jessie for my Mamo and Gina for my Sono. They couldn’t have been more kind, compassionate and comforting. When I was done Paige told me to sit down and wait, that the radiologist was in, and she was going to make sure he read the results right away, so I didn’t have to wait in fear for days. I sat for about 20 minutes, and I could see her where I was sitting. As she was printing out the report, she looked over her shoulder at me and gave me a thumbs up. Everything was okay. I might just be the biggest chicken on the planet when it comes the “C” word but this experience from start to finish was beyond what I ever expected. I was treated like a woman who was scared, not a number. Each and everyone of them was beyond my expectations amazing. Thank you to all of you. I am writing this in case there is someone out there who is like me and is afraid of going for their mamo. I am encouraging you to go to Pure Mammography. I will spread the word in my circles also. This place is amazing, and I really can’t thank all of them enough. I will be going here every year from now on."
