"I've been in the neighborhood for decades, and for some reason, I discovered Ascend Spa only about a year ago. It is totally my loss! But I can now say I'm a pleased client. Joe is my massage therapist. He listens to what you need, how strong/deep you want the pressure applied, and more. A couple of days ago, I felt my sciatica"building up," so I decided to give them a call. Luckily, Joe was available for a walk-in. It was the smartest thing I did that day. I was in such misery before, walking in pain; even my yoga didn't help for more than a couple of minutes. Joe was my cure that day. I walked taller and pain-free after treatment. Thank you, Joe! "I am of the opinion that you can tell a lot about a business by their bathrooms and the one I saw here at Ascend Day Spa was impressive. In perfect order, clean plus large and well-lit. There is a sauna and a shower there. I understand the sauna is not used now because of COVID rules. I longed for a day at a spa and found Ascend through an internet search. I was worried because I was going after a COVID closure and the reviews were months old but it turns out that I had nothing to fear. The check-in process was simple. I filled out three forms, one being a COVID release. The waiting area was pristine and spacious. I found the whole place sanitary. The decor was soothing. The linens and all surfaces were clean. The appointment was quick to make. I was at Ascend Day Spa for 2.5 hours. Everyone was very professional and friendly. I had a massage by Shannon first. It was followed by a facial (using GLO products) and waxing by Martha. Each of the services felt great! The price came to $231 (that includes tax) and was reasonable. I spend long hours sitting at a computer and Shannon’s massage released a lot of tension in my shoulders. Martha gave me a calm and careful facial with extractions. My eyebrow shaping and waxing come out perfect. I felt great the next day!"
