"IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD!! I’ve been a patient at Penfield Psych with Olana Solt for a few years now. I was transferred to her after my original psychiatrist left the practice. Olana consistently left my emails unanswered, most recently in a time where I really could’ve used assistance. After being a patient for a few years, there have only been a select number of times where I’ve cancelled (not last minute) but have rescheduled. The first time I have ever accidentally missed an appointment was recently, and right when I realized, I called the office & the receptionist told me they would talk to Olana & call me back. Needless to say, I was never called back. I even emailed Olana & didn’t hear back. I then called & was told I was DISCHARGED AS A PATIENT, which was the choice of Olana, but they wouldn’t tell me why, just that I’ve cancelled too many times but couldn’t tell me her other reasoning. This is PATIENT ABANDONMENT. Not only that, but the receptionist snapped “bye” AND HUNG UP ON ME. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Listen to the google reviews people, they suck & will abandon you as a patient with ease."

"I truly love Penfield Psychiatry. I just went to send the web page info to a friend who needs some help, and I noticed a lot of negative reviews.. I’m unsure why they exist, though I do understand everyone is unique and has their own experiences. I’ve been a patient of Penfield Psychiatry for years. Olana Solt honestly has changed and saved my life in so many ways. I couldn’t be more thankful for her. I also truly appreciate how responsive and wonderful the ladies in the front office are. They are understanding, kind, responsive, and very helpful. I appreciate that they answer my emails because I hate calling businesses and that small thing really means a lot to me. Everyone should always remember, we are all living our own lives and everyone has their own experiences, but you should always be kind to the people who are trying to help you. Penfield Psychiatry is great."

"I have had nothing but excellent experiences w penfield psych. I receive service from the Farmington office. We've been on telehealth for some time during the pandemic which has worked very well. I completely trust Donna Ridley Wilber and Jennifer Meeks. They are caring, compassionate, honest in helping me look at different perspectives. Many thanks"

"I only meant to grab the phone number from the Google listing, but seeing so many 1-star reviews was shocking to me and I want to quickly post my own experience. I have never had any issues with this office, in fact they are the only ones who were able to constructively help me after seeing a few other therapists over the years. It seems like a lot of the issues people had with the practice occurred over the transitional period to telehealth with Covid, and granted I have been a patient since a couple years before when they were still in-office, but I think it's important to understand that navigating Covid was difficult for everyone. Personally, I did not experience any disruption of appts over this period (although again I was an existing patient), and in fact they were extremely helpful in managing my severe anxiety spikes due to the pandemic's effects. Anne Marie and Pam have consistently been amazing, as well as Kristin and Lori in the office. I would 1000% recommend the practice to anyone seeking mental health help!"
