"I am concerned about the reviews I have read. But I must say that the only thing I struggle with from this group is simply getting an appointment for a yearly examine - and you can't set one up a year ahead of time. Dr. Piquion is my doctor and she is FABULOUS, which makes her quite popular - which explains why getting an appointment with her is, at times, difficult. One time a few years back, when Dr. Piquion was not available, I chose whoever was available and it was Dr. Dass. Although I felt miserable, all I had was a basic vaginal bacterial infection. Still, something about that bedside manner made me feel guilty for having that common infection:( Funny, what you remember.... For those of you looking for test results, don't forget to look on-line in you patient portal. Also, it has been my experience that if your test(s) results are abnormal, they call you pretty quick - the opposite is true if the results are normal i.e No news is good news:) My regular intern operates this way and so does my Vet, which leads me to believe that this is standard practice in the medical field."
"Horrible!! Going thru a miscarriage is bad enough. Having to chase down doctors for lab results during that time is dispicable. Never got answers or call backs, had to leave dozens of messages...still didn't get back to me. Had to go there in person and demand answers. Never can see your actual doctor and when you do they are an hour late. Every time you call they are all on lunch for 2 hours or phones are shut off for the day cause they are all leaving soon. Would not recommend"
"I wish I could give ZERO stars! My experience with these people is horrible! Dr. Dass botched a simple procedure and not only did they still charge me for it, but when Dr. Dass left me sobbing in the examination room (after causing me extreme pain) she remarked "I guess you're just going to have to live with your medical problem". I've also had nothing but problems with their office staff. They are rude and condescending. I would suggest that everybody avoid this medical practice. They are the worst and they don't care about their patients. They only seem to care about money. I can assure you they won't be seeing any more of my money."
"I'm changing doctors. I HAVE BEEN WAITING 2 WEEKS FOR A CALL BACK. HRT isn't right and they ignore it. Also have been bleeding post menopausal and not a good sign. I could have CANCER and they don't even care to return a phone call. Yesterday I got a bill in the mail for a co-payment. They are screwing my insurance company because I went in there to talk to the doctor for about 10 minutes and that is only because she NEVER calls me back. A co-payment? Yeah right. They will never die broke. In all honesty, THEY SUCK"
"I never write reviews, but felt inclined due to the horrible experience I had at this practice. I used to go to Dr. Jeanne Grove when she ran the practice, and while I love her, I've never been treated by a doctor's office so poorly in my life. I had my first baby at an out-of-state OB, but have recently returned as I'm pregnant with my second. In general, the entire staff at this practice has been rude, condescending, and unresponsive. Every time I spoke to a nurse, I was told different things. While they do have a nurse-voice message system, there were MANY times when my questions or concerns (related to a previous miscarriage) were unanswered. In particular, I was waiting for blood work to come back on a Friday to confirm a miscarriage and I didn't receive a phone call until the following Monday). I rarely spoke to a doctor, and when I did was made to feel stupid or as if I was asking the wrong questions. When having my ultrasound for my current pregnancy, the stenographer was extremely rude and condescending. She tried to tell me that I wasn't as far along as I thought (off by over a week), despite the fact that I told her 1) I know my body, and I know when I ovulated 2) it wouldn't be physically possible for me to conceive when she said I did and 3)I was taking my body temperature and ovulation tests so I have it down to the DAY. To top off this horrible 2-month experience, when a doctor finally did call me back, she left a detailed voice message on the wrong phone number providing details about my medical history. Luckily, it was my sisters phone number she mis-dialed. HIPPA violation? What professional doctor leaves details about a person's medical history on an un-named voice message? Although I used this practice all through high school and college, I am changing doctor's immediately. From receptionists to nurses, everyone I dealt with talked down to me. I find it hard to understand how a practice can operate this way when we are PAYING YOU for a service. How can blood work and ultra sound results take 7- 10 business days to return? Unless I hounded them for blood test results etc., they never contacted me. You should never have to hunt down your doctor and you should never be made to feel inferior by their staff. I've had many OBGYN's in the past, and I'm appalled at how these people treat their patients."
