ER-DOX Urgent Care of Marine Park

"I was dealing with a sore throat before coming into this urgent care. I had a feeling it was strep throat, so I went to urgent care to make sure. While I had no issues with staff, the staff who I spoke with misdiagnosed me. The doctor told me I had rhinovirus, however I told her I had a feeling I have strep throat. She told me she cannot prescribe me anything because in the office I tested negative for strep. She said she can send my test out to the lab to double check. The pain only got worse, there were times where the pain was so bad I was drooling out of my mouth. Only soon to find out 2-3 days later I got a call from the lab telling me I tested positive for strep."

"I brough my son to do covid test and he is special need. I called 30 minutes before and ask what time they closed and the lady said the last check in will be 7:15pm so I went there at 6:45pm she told me she already took the last patient and told me come back next day. I told her I just called 30 minutes and you told me the last check in patient was 7:15am. and she has the attitude said I was loud. I am not going there again. worse experience I have ever have after they changed the name. zero star."

"Very bad urgent care, incompetent staff carelessly lost my test results three times. I was asked to come back and retake the test twice!, (Im assuming it was the PCR covid test, they didn't even know what they were testing me for when I asked multiple times first it was flu, then strep, who the hell knows) anyhow here I am still sick as a dog and not even sure what's wrong with me. Going to my primary doctor tomorrow. Just be advised that this place is run by idiots. Low standards and careless. There is no accountability at this place. No supervisor will help when I asked for one. Horrible, stay away."

"Initially I was very grateful there was no one in the waiting room, but now I know why. I came to this urgent care to be seen for what I thought was either a flu, cold, or infection. The electronic prescreening process was great, along with my wait time. The nurse I saw also was very efficient and moved quickly. Then this is where everything went downhill. The "doctor" who was a PA came in and spent about 2 minutes with me. I tried to express my concerns and he didn't care about anything I had to say. They swabbed me and sent me on my way and told me wait 24-48 hours. I was seen on a Saturday at 10am, and did not receive any information about my results until Wednesday at 12pm due to the "lab being backed up". I totally understand during peak cold and flu season but 4 days with no answers, as I was progressively getting worse was absurd. When I called and finally received my results, telling them I was not any better, they told me they would "write my name on a list and call be back with information regarding calling me in a prescription". I never received that call, eventually I gave up on this place and received treatment elsewhere as I was fed up."

"Dr was very catering and tender. She was able to help me understand my issue. Front Desk could be nicer. Very dismissive and seems to have misinterpret the fact that patient is not feeling well. Not nice at all. I almost left because of the rude encounter. Facility should find better desk reps with manner s. Representative service was ghetto!"
