"Came in for PT in June. I had referral and instructions on what therapist should avoid given my case. First session was good, next two or three were each with a different person who clearly did not know what to do vs. not do with me, so I had to explain to each person each time. After third or fourth session (and thus third or fourth person) the PT said she was concerned about an aspect of my case and that they would discuss internally and I should not come back until they called me back. I still haven't gotten that callback, but I continued to get automated reminders for the appointments they told me to cancel, then automated texts asking why I had stopped coming and reminding me of the importance of continuing with PT. Final straw just now was being told by my FSA that they had rejected a claim for a one-off administrative charge Optimum had charged me and my FSA card was now on hold until I reimbursed them for this inappropriate charge. I went with Optimum because reviews seemed decent and they were very close to my house when I could barely walk due to my injury. But their absolute lack of internal communication put me at real risk of much more serious injury if I had not been fully on top of training each new person, and then their lack of follow-up meant that I was left without PT coverage since I had already used the referral and I didn't have the energy to fight my insurance company on getting a new one for a competent place. If you have an EXTREMELY simple case, no FSA, and the location is very convenient to you, then sure, go for it (hence my 2 stars, not 1), but I cannot imagine going back myself after my disastrous experience."
