"I have known Kae for 7 years, and I greatly admire her for her ability to create safe and inclusive spaces. She possesses a strong sense of self-awareness, and every time I find myself in a shared space with her, I learn something new. Recently, Kae organized a Sigil and Skin workshop, where participants had the opportunity to ink their intentions onto their skin in the form of a sigil. As we entered the dimly lit room, bathed in violet tones and accompanied by soothing meditation music, a sense of tranquility and manifestation filled the air. To set the tone, we began by brewing exquisite tea, which further enhanced the experience. Kae provided us with a brief introduction to the history and culture of sigils, and then guided the group through a grounding meditation. We were encouraged to write our affirmations and manifestations, which led us to create sigils that aligned with our personal truths. Throughout the process, I felt empowered and grounded, as if my feet were firmly rooted into the very foundations of the earth. Living in NYC can often be stressful, and it's easy to develop a tough exterior. However, in that moment, I felt soft and at peace. The workshop allowed us to connect with one another, sharing stories, laughter, and tea. It was an opportunity to expand our community and form deeper bonds. I want to express my gratitude to Kae for being her authentic self and spreading love. She reminded us that what is meant for us will never pass us by."

"Kena has created a beautiful, comfortable safe space for her tattoo clients. She did two of my tattoos and I plan to get more from her. She has a very gentle touch when tattooing. I had been thinking about getting my brows done for years but never felt quite brave enough to do it, but when Kena got her brow certifications, I felt she would be the right person to go to, based on my past experiences with the tattoos she did on me. She was! Kena explained everything to me and listened to my concerns. She was able to answer all my questions and put me at ease. I felt like I was in excellent hands. She used a numbing cream on my browline and I barely felt the needles! A few months later I'm ready for a touch up, and my brows still look great. I love waking up with eyebrows that I didn't have to pencil in. She's a true artist! very detail oriented, listens to her clients and explains everything. I'm very happy with her work. I highly recommend Kena! Update: I returned for my 6 month eyebrow touch up and the experience was just as excellent and professional. After a few days my eyebrows were completely healed (I don't know if these results are typical) and they look amazing! They look like my real eyebrows only better! "There’s no shortage of words I can say about Kena and the space she’s built here, I just don’t know if I have the right words to convey just how important this whole experience is. I’ve received two tattoos from Kena and each time, they were some of the best tattooing experiences I’ve had. She has one of the lightest touches and creates some of the most intricate details while doing it. The atmosphere she creates just from being her is one so comfortable and accepting, it’s hard to be nervous once you settle down and let her take over. Kena, who has some of the most unique original work, was also very open to letting me get a tattoo basically copy and pasted from one of my favorite pieces of media and was just as excited about it as my first tattoo, and to this day I appreciate it because I know she probably would have wanted to do something more original–but humored me. I owe her an original piece and I plan on coming back to NYC just for that. Aside from the tattoos, the Reverie Garden Studio experience doesn’t end–it grows and expands and creates one of the most exciting places I’ve ever been to. I was lucky enough to be able to attend an event, set up with vendors and a burlesque performance, and I cannot recommend enough either having an event there or going to one . Everything from the art of the walls to the many nooks and crannies comes together to give the space for every ounce of creativity you have within you. Not only that, Kena herself is so open to giving her own ideas and space to help make a night one of a kind. I will forever be upset that I missed the Halloween event at the end of October. Overall, Kena has created this wonderfully inviting and creative space in Brooklyn that I feel was needed for women and the LGBTQ+ community. I would want no one other than Kena to run this place; she has a love for everyone and the art we’re all able to create; this space feels safe with her."
