"I would avoid Northwell Health Imaging Centers as they have proven themselves incapable of obtaining the advance precertification, and then asking you to reschedule your appointment to start the process all over again. They had ten days to do so. What a nightmare spending the whole day talking to many Northwell staffers at their office and on the phone. Their staff is not sympathetic and did not care about my hardship. They treat you as a number and did not make any effort to resolve their failure. I wound up getting the precertification on my own the same day and took my business to Zwanger-Pesiri Radiology who was able to schedule me the following day. Never again Northwell. Give your money to companies that care. Zero stars but needed to give them one to submit my comment."

"I've been on hold now to schedule a CAT scan for over 45 minutes..FYI the date is 11/7/23. The music on hold is horrible...and interspersed with it is this pleasant/happy voice thanking me for my patience...how can you be angry with someone that scratches behind your ears and tells you they appreciate your patience....Good Boy...Here you go! 12:15 PM and I've on this seemingly endless hold for over an hour of my life now, just to schedule a CAT Scan that, God-Forbid informs my Doctor that the one hour of my life could have been spent more productively than the aggravating time-suck they subjected me to. Decided to drive over to the facility to schedule my appointment, face to face--I'm willing to bet that by the time I get home after scheduling said appointment and grabbing a Starbucks, my line will still be on hold...playing that torturous muzak! Drove over, scheduled my appointment at Northwell Imaging, picked up some things at Home Depot, picked up my Starbucks returned home and indeed the Muzak continued to play---A healthcare delivery War Crime!"
"I am in the medical field and I have to say that this may have been one of the worst experiences I have ever had. My daughter was scheduled for an MRI and we were told to arrive at 10 so she can drink the special fluid prior to her 11:30 appointment…… great, ok. We get 3 bottles. My daughter finishes one and then out of nowhere the front desk receptionist says, “I am sorry but we will have to re-schedule your appointment ”. Uh no way, sorry, that is NOT happening was my response. Apparently they JUST realized the script was incorrect. I called the doctor office, spoke to answering service and got a call back immediately. Turned out script was correct and she did not have to drink the nasty drinks prior to the test after all. So now we move into the area where my daughter needs to change into the paper scrubs. There is a man sitting in the room with his paper scrubs on waiting to be seen. After 25 minutes of sitting in this room the front desk woman says, why are you sitting in the men’s area. REALLY? YOUR STAFF BROUGHT US IN HERE……… We move into the ladies changing area. One hour later, my daughter is finally taken in to have her test done. Not good Northwell, you CAN and NEED to do better at this location. I will never go back to this location again. Thank you to the MD who was in the office ( she happened to be a patient waiting for a test to be done), who was also being told she too had to re-schedule. The Dr. ( also a patient) offered to write us a script so that my daughter could have her MRI ( even though the original script was acceptable after the whole debacle). It’s nice to know that there are kind and caring people in the world."
"I have to go to all Northwell practices due to my hubby working for the health system! I’m very hard on the Northwell system so if I tell you they are great then they are great! I barely sat down before they called me. Everyone was so nice and I basically knew the results before I left. You can’t beat that!"
