Avance Care Garner

"As a normally healthy, elderly person, I had not established a relationship with a medical professional, and then I caught the serious respiratory virus that has done so much damage among the elderly and children. It put me down hard and left me with pneumonia. I felt quite alone and frankly …scared. Nurse Practitioner Stephanie Brinson and her staff greeted me at my car and gave me a thorough examination, sending me for an xray. What impressed me most was the amount of time each member of the Avance team spent with me, reassuring me that they would get me through this. There was none of the feeling that they had to hurry up to meet a patient quota for the day. NOW, I have a relationship with a professional, caring medical team I can trust."

"This location is awful...called today to have my son seen for cold symptoms and was told they wouldn't see him because he only comes their when he's sick? Duh...it's a Dr. Office?? I have been going here for awhile now but it funny that they pick and choose WHO they want to see...I called the Avance Care Location on Oberlin Rd and NO questions asked. They actually laughed when I told them the story about the Garner location...what a shame. You guys need to do better. I'll be submitting this to the corporate office as well. This is NOT OK."

I felt as though all of my questions and concerns were validated, and addressed appropriately. She also had recommendations for other specialty providers in the area, and I could tell that she truly cared that I was receiving the best possible care."

She is the first dr to ever tell me they are proud of me, and it meant a lot!! The staff listens and cares! I recently moved an hour away and I take the drive because it is WORTH it. The front desk workers are amazing along with the nurses. 10/10 recommendation if looking for a change"
