WakeMed Primary Care - Oberlin

"Do not waste your time on this establishment. My husband scheduled an appointment only for it to be canceled without reason. We called and the staff refused to assist in scheduling a new appointment for him to be seen. They stated he needed to be sick and could not request a general physical unless he would comitt to being seen only at their establishment moving forward. I asked if he could schedule an appointment to have his vitals checked along with his bloodwork and they said they would also not do this. They said he could wait a few months to be seen elsewhere or he could meet with a doctor to talk about his health. He said they did not have to check his blood and transferred me to a voicemail. I called back and the representative was very rude and refused to even share her name with me since I said I wanted to leave a full and honest review of our experience. She then placed me on hold indefinitely. Do NOT consider this establishment if you are looking for a provider who cares. These people expected him to "prove" his illness just to be seen and show no empathy or professionalism."

"Dr. Vickie Fowler is the best! I have been with her nearly 8 years and drive an hour to this location. She has always been very professional, extreme knowledgeable, caring and thorough. Being under her care for so long has given me quality of life. Doctors like her are rare anymore so I’m grateful to have her. My wait time is never too long, the staff is always friendly and informative. It’s definitely worth the drive for me :)"

"I went in for a physical and this ethical doctor’s office is trying to bill me for a “heart check”. The doctor did not perform a single check or test on my heart. Now as honest as these people are, they kindly put me into collections for a service I didn’t request & they didn’t even provide. Do yourself a favor and do not go anywhere near this office. Ps. The nurse only used one glove when she drew my blood. Gross."

"I love this place. The OBGYN office is absolutely amazing. The doctors, nurses, and staff are always so welcoming and caring. Also the phlebotomists in the lab are absolute angels! I have a huge fear of needles and they are so helpful and kind. They make the experience the best it can be. I am truly so thankful."
