"Update: I called the store and they told me to bring in my phone so they could see if it was fixable. They ended up replacing my screen and didn't charge me. I appreciate that they made this right and I now a working phone. I also got more communication about what was wrong with my phone as well as a referral to a shop that works on those types of problems. I am satisfied with the customer service I received today. Went in to have the screen of my phone replaced (phone worked fine, just wanted to get rid of the cracks). They said it would be 45 min, so I went and ran errands and came back. When I got back I was told by the employee that when she plugged in the camera cord that my phone overheated and burned her. She explained that she wasn't going to charge me for the screen repair (which made me think she had actually repaired my screen). She told me she just needed to put my phone back together. That took at least 15 minutes with no communication from any employees. Then she came out, handed me my phone, and told me my touch screen was no longer working. She explained to me that I needed to take me phone back to where I bought it and tell them it has been over heating on me. She specifically told me not to tell them that I tried to have my screen repaired and to make sure they knew my phone had been getting hot before my screen was cracked. So not only is my phone now completely unusable, I was told to lie to my cell phone company. I cannot believe the service I was given today, and the lack of responsibility for breaking my phone."
