"I took my mom here on a Sunday evening because she needed to get her color washed out. Most of the nearby salons were closed early, so I suggested we try the nearby barber shop. My mom walked in, and politely asked if they could wash her hair. The man at the reception area told her "yes, of-course"... My mom and I sat down, waited for 10 minutes. Finally the man at the reception came to my mom, and said "please sit in the washing seat, by the sink". My mom sat down. The man began to unravel my mothers hairs. My mother, very politely asked the man to wash his hands because had been handling money & shaking hands with other men. The man gave me a smug look, and proceeded to yell at my mom. He asked us to leave the barbershop. I asked why he was asking her to leave, especially after beginning the process to wash her hair! He told me, "i forgot we don't serve women" in a sarcastic tone. I became extremely upset, and told the man that just because she told him to wash his hands doesn't mean he should be rude. The man told me "no I am dirty, i never wash my hands, leave now". He then proceeded to curse at my mom. It is shocking that this barbershop has a 5-star rating; they are unsanitary, and don't value paying customers. They are extremely egoistic. The man proceeded to attend to the next customer, and began touching the blades and scissors with unwashed hands. I wanted to leave this review here so other people can be vary of a business which does not uphold sanitary regulations, and has a problem with serving women. If you value your mothers and sisters, I suggest you take your business elsewhere, because it is disgraceful to ask a paying customer to leave, after fully accepting to offer them a service. The man proceeded to kick us out, as if we had been in the wrong, and acted as if it was our fault that he had failed to wash his hands. Attached is a picture of the man, he is a tall person, with a lanky physique, wearing a hat."

"Mokthar is the best barber in the city hands down!!!!!!!!!!!!! Experienced for 20 years and he knows how to handle hair. He pays attention to detail. What can go wrong with a barber of 30 years experience. Don't look any further! PLUS it's unbelievably cheap."
