"I been going to Ruben for many years now and followed him when he opened this gorgeous barbershop which he is constantly updating and making it more detailed so every time you notice something different. It gives a speakeasy vibe even showcasing barbershop antiques. I prefer using their system which is by appointment, which locks in your prefer barber. They have a easy to use app (Tip: Book beginning of the month). I say this because I read a review before how the app does not work because it shows no availability, that is because they are that good at what they do and get booked up immediately. The app will also show you other barbers available. When Ruben is not available, I go to Jose, also known as Thetattedbarber. Another reason is you choose the services on the app and the total price is shown so no surprises at the end of your cut. They do have walk ins, but that is up to your discretion. Ruben's attention to detail and passion for perfection is what makes the cost worth it. I can tell you from past experience with other barbers, I would have to come home and finish the job, at Well Kept, I can go straight to my next destination knowing my cut is complete.
