I should have written this review a long time ago, as I have been a client for a couple of years now and have seen pretty much every stylist they have on staff, as well as Dan. I have never, ever, ever been anything less than thrilled with my hair after an appointment at this salon. A special mention for my girl Celeste who is brilliant at color. I honestly trust booking color or cut with anyone here, because Dan is AMAZING..... and he has set a very high bar for hiring new team members. But today was the first time that I ever forgot that I had an appointment! I realized it an hour past the appointment time..... raced there as fast as I could just to be able to apologize in person.... and not only did Dan and Serena (who I was scheduled with) welcome me with smiles and laughter and told me not to worry.... they both insisted that I stay to get my haircut once Serena was done with her current client. She stayed late on a Friday and didn't charge a cent extra or make me feel the slightest bit guilty about my mistake. So not only is everyone here incredibly talented, but they are exceptionally nice and friendly. Everyone here is someone that I would actually love to be friends with outside of the salon. I have been in New York for 20 years..... have been through a million salons..... and will never ever go anywhere other than Danka Panka."
