"I have tried this place technically 6 times. The first few were fine, my nails limped to the 2 week mark, which I usually have acrylics last 3+ weeks, but it’s close and convenient. The 4th and 5th time I went, prices seemed made up, I paid $15 more than I did the previous time, for the same service, and the $20 more the 5th time. I started going to another place, but today I was in a bind and needed to get my nails done, so I made an appointment for a fill at 5pm. When I arrived, I said I was there for a fill twice, I was asked if I had gel polish, which I do, on top of my acrylic fill, one woman took me, started doing my nails, and then started talking to another worker about how I needed a fill, not gel, and laughing at me, so I said yes can I please get a fill, that’s what I made the appointment for, thank you! The woman said “ok” and got up and went back to the woman’s nails she was working on. I sat there for over 30 minutes, no one said anything to me, I tried to ask one woman and she looked away as soon as I spoke. I will never go back, even when they do your nails, it’s overpriced. Very disappointed."

"I’m so glad a friend brought me here. Any time I get a gel manicure from my usual place in Morris Park, I am always less than satisfied. Needless to say, Bay Rose is now my new spot for a gel manicure. My nails came out just the way I like them - shiny, even and with clean edges. I brought my daughter a few days later and witnessed a very accommodating and friendly staff. I was able to wait for my daughter while sitting in a massage chair - something that other salons only let a current customer do. Anyone who walked into the shop that day male, female, black, white, tall, short ... were all treated with courtesy. UPDATE: My second visit was not as satisfying as the first. The woman who provided my services seemed rushed and did not file my nails evenly - destroyed the shape of one nail so bad that I had to file it down and reshape it to make it look right. I had to correct two of my nails myself and some of my toes had polish on the skin. By the end of my visit I was frustrated. Needless to say, I won’t go to her on my next visit (sorry, I won’t reveal her name) ... I’ll use the woman who took care of me the first time (that’s Rosa)."
