Dr. Gregory Gang, DDS

"Dr. Gang is indeed the worse dentist I have ever experienced in my life. I must say not only is he the worse but he is a liar as well. I have and still is trying to get a tooth permanently filled since last year. I did everything he told me. And that is to go to a specialist. Which he tell all patients to do. I spent $1200 out of pocket for root canal. I go back to him two weeks later to get filling or cap, and he tells me that I have to return because I have swelling. BS! But i go back to specials and had major surgery on thr opposite side costing me another $2100 out of pocket. Let me say it was back and forth and still haven't gotten work done. And the front desk crew is so unprofessional and rude. I really don't know why that office exist. Today was the final. Dr. said I did the work in your mouth. Man must have amnesia. I recommend you do research before going to this horrible place. I wish I had read reviews first. But it must be faith that the work not finished. So I will listen and go else where."

"Dentist with good interpersonal skills. Front office service is okay. Instruments appear a little older and needs renovation. Convenient location for most residents in the neighborhood."

"Dr.Gang is absolutely the worst Dentist in Co-op City and has been for years! If you are a new patient I would suggest seeking another dentist and if you need options I’ll be sure to assist you. I along with many of my neighbors have had issues with Dr.Gregory Gang. He fails to properly do work on your mouth causing you to have to schedule appointment with him again so he can make the same mistake. He will ensure you that you need to get a root canal instead of actually fixing the issue. After my horrible experience I went to get a second opinion with two other dentist in Co-op City and they both have received former dissatisfied patients of Dr. Gang and they had to fix his work. Discreetly, they agreed that he is incompetent of being a dentist because they constantly have to keep fixing his work."

"I missed a few appointment because of my job and I care for my mother. I wanted to start of with this so we are clear. My first visit the assistant did x-rays of my teeth and told me to reschedule. I thought that was weird and it is hard enough for me to make time for myself, so I reschedule the second visit a few times and I finally get to meet Dr. Gang. I was told he was going to vacation the next day. He walks in and says to me you haven't been back in a year. I said a year, he said well not quite. I explain I have family stuff. He then looks at one side of my mouth and tell me I have to see a gum specialist because it looks like I haven't been to the dentist in 200 years. No cleaning nothing.I guess he was in vacation mode. The truth of the matter is I haven't been to the dentist in about 2 or 3 years because when my brother died at the age of 47 from a heart attack and i took on the huge responsibility of caring for him and paying for his home going service I stopped caring for myself. I will never return to this doctor even though it's a 5 minute walk from my house. I never been to a dentist that never attempts to clean your teeth and wants you to keep returning for procedures that can be done in the same day. Anyway to make a buck I guess."

"Very kind and courteous dentist. Knowledgeable and well-spoken with certainty. I've had a few visits now and sure the small facility isn't a sci-fi technological sort its appearance is good-natured and that of a focus on quality work rather than others who mostly focus on appearances and sub-par work. In regards to quality work shockingly I have 0 complaints and barely spend any long times here which I may speak on all of us when I say waiting an hour or so sucks!! I recommend this Dr. However everyone's experiences will be different as we are but human."
