"The receptionist, Brenda, was very confusing, and gave me the run around on multiple occasions. This is for the Arden location. I called and explained that my teenage daughter had PCOS and that her endocrinologist suggested she see a pelvic floor therapist. I started an initial file on my daughter with Cornerstone over the phone, (including giving her my daughter's birthday). I was told that the medicaid plan we were under was not accepted by Cornerstone, and which one was accepted. After hours on the phone figuring out the medicaid maze, I had her medicaid changed to the one that they accepted. After I changed medicaid plans and the new plan was active, I called to make an appt, and she told me that they didn't have a pelvic floor therapist that saw patients under 18. She said they had a while back, but they has left the practice (well before I'd talked to her). This of course was confusing, because she knew I had called about my teenage daughter, and I had given her her birthday at least 3 times over the course of 7 or 8 calls between us. As my daughters 18th birthday approaches, I called back in order to make an appt with a pelvic floor therapist, for after my daighters 18th birthday. At this point, Brenda (the receptionist) tells me that she would have to self pay, as the only therapists at their facility that accepted medicaid was an orthopedic. At this point I do not understand exactly how we could've made it this far down the path without me being told this information. I spent hours, over several afternoons on the phone, and weeks waiting for the medicaid plan to change, based on the information given to me. During every refresher conversation i had told her my daughter had PCOS and needed to see a pelvic floor therapist, so as not to assume she remembered me, out of courtesy to her busy schedule. I had told her several times the entire story, and she had even received a referral from my daughters endocrinologist (who in my experience doesn't treat feet). The amount of confusion and inaccountability to what was previously said between myself and this reception has left me so confused, and I feel that with some clear and open information flow, our relationship could've been one that lasted minutes, rather than months. I understand that i will now need to self-pay for my daughter's care, but it will definitely be elsewhere, as I will not be booking with this practice of therapists. They may be wonderful, but the path to get to them is full of misinformation and detours."
"I was pleased with my experience with Cornerstone Physical Therapy. Liz, my therapist, was very helpful In guiding me through my recovery from a rotator cuff problem. She was able to eliminate my severe pain and strengthen my shoulder muscles with the exercises that she had me do. I highly recommend her!"
"Liz is an incredible Physical Therapist. She is kind, considerate, learned, supportive, and hard-core! She helped me so much with my neck pain, and I feel equipped to manage the much- reduced chronic condition. She gave me confidence that things can actually get better! Thanks so much to everyone at Cornerstone. You made a difference in my life."
"I'm so glad I found this place! Patrick helped my shoulder feel better after years of on and off pain. I have had physical therapy for my shoulder in the past, but it felt much more beneficial this time around. I finally feel like I can gain strength confidently in my upper body, and that I have the tools to rehab should I feel the pain again. I appreciate the help of everyone here, and have already recommended Patrick to a couple of my friends. Thank you!!"
"The care I have received at Cornerstone Physical Therapy, by Caroline, has been personal, professional and life changing. My PT sessions were both encouraging and challenging. A combination that keeps my 62 year old body mobile and without pain making me able to continue doing the things I like to do."
