"I met with midwife Jacqueline today and really enjoyed my visit. She was very informative. She talked to myself and my husband about what to expect over the next few weeks. She educated us about the upcoming anatomy scans, what they will look for, and what it means going forward. She even spoke to me about being at high risk for preeclampsia as an African American. I really appreciated the information and care she provided during my appointment. It felt, almost familial. She even asked my partner if he had any questions."
