"I have been a resident for over 3 years . I like living here, although we have had many changes. By far our new property manager has been the most understanding and accommodating. Thank you Brittany"
"I’ve been with Southwood Realty since 2020 I started with Cowans Farm in Rock Hill. I am not at Commons . I must say that over all I love them and the space that comes with your apartments. You get your money worth. Common has updated amenities trash pick up etc it is quite and near everything. When I first moved in the lady in the office was not the best and did not get work done. However Grace and another guy have been rotating in the office and they are doing a great job. All of my work orders have been completed pest control etc things that were never done before and I moved into my unit in August . A mirror needed to be replaced and the previous Lady lied stating she put in an order and never did. Grace came in and a week later my mirror was replaced. She also called and check to make sure everything was okay and if I needed anything else. I appreciate that as a tenant bc we pay so much money for rent nowadays we atleast want to get our money worth and the courtesy we deserve! Thank you Grace and the other guy In the office I do not know his name ! Thank you Southwood Reality for proving great square footage in your units!"
"I’ll start by saying I think the property manager Michelle is racist too she’s very nasty to people she don’t try to help you with anything and their late fee is 10 percent of what your rent is and every year it’s a hundred dollars added to your lease.I lived here when they first build these apartments and we are in 2023 and they still have the same old carpet and appliances in my apartment the stove burner went out and they came and patched the wires instead of changing the stove and giving me a new one i even had mold in my apartment before. I had owed rent for September and I went to the office Oct 3rd to pay the month that I owed for and they told me I have to pay two months rent because they don’t take partial payment and try to file eviction notice me and I brought the months rent to them and they didn’t take it and telling me the other months rent is due on the first of the month but they give you a five day grace period and trying to file eviction after I gave them the rent isn’t that crazy this place is very awful and they don’t care about you all they care about is getting people in and out as fast as they can so they can get more money for the apartments they broke in my car twice here people have Pitbull dogs over here who jumped the fence and attacked me and my two little dogs."
"I've lived here for 11yrs , and I just want to thank our management especially Michele for making our community a better place to live she's changed things since she's been our manager, for the better, hate to hear her last day is Friday we'll miss her here for sure, and a shout out to Pablo our head maintenance man, he's on top of everything and takes great care of everything and everything. If you're looking for a place to live near Charlotte come check out the Commons at Fort Mill. Think you'll be pleased."
"We have lived at The Commons at Fort Mill for over 3 years now and 95% of the time it has been great. Every complex is going to have something that someone doesn't like, but to blame all problems on management is ridiculous. Sometimes things are out of their control and YOU are not the only resident! Our experience has been great. It is a quiet community with very strong amenities for the price, you won't find a better deal in Fort Mill! We have had maintenance issues as anyone would and the maintenance team here is always ready to help, prompt, professional, and they know what they are doing. Also the staff lead by Andrea and her team are awesome. She is always available if there is an issue and can be reached by phone, email, or through the neighborhood text number. Over the past several months, The Commons have made every effort to remain competitive in an ever competitive apartment market. They have totally redone the playground, added a bark park, and added a picnic area along with multiple picnic tables and charcoal grills around the complex. It has really made a difference in my opinion! Also, they have valet trash that comes every night to your door to take your trash away! They also have a quality workout center and the clubhouse has been redesigned. So in conclusion, if you are looking for a nice, quiet place to live in Fort Mill, give the Commons a try. Believe me, I am not one to stay around if it wasn't worth it. Also the prices are very fair, I think our rent went up like $30 this year. Not a bad trade-off for all the new features. I hope this honest and truthful review helps someone who is considering the Commons. Don't get caught up with the 2 line 1 star reviews of those that are disgruntled over one situation and react too harshly. Give the Commons a try!!"
