Comfort Inn At the Park

"Ended up at this hotel because of having to cancel another, because request on booking couldn't be accommodated, upon arrival. There was no strain on my back, and I woke up feeling rested. The one thing that I did not like, however, was no stopper for the tub, and the one for the sink didn't really work. Otherwise, nice hotel."

"First the customer service was GREAT!!! Lobby was packed and there was lots of kids so it was loud and the guy checked me in quick. Like within 10 mins. Also was offered a gift from their shop for being a choice member. Breakfast is amazing!!! The rooms are very roomy. I have 3 toddlers and we all fit comfortably without being crammed. It’s super quiet and relaxing. Great views of carowinds which my toddlers loved. It’s an older hotel but very well kept up with and for the price you can’t beat it. It doesn’t even give an older feel or looks. I could live here lol. I felt very safe and welcome."

"I had a problem with the tub not draining, spoke to the front desk and the girl made a note but not a work order, then the manager supposedly made one. Never was resolved. The tall lady at checkout was rude and didn't bother to ask how my stay was. If you plan on walking to the cracker barrel across the street be aware there are no side or crosswalks. The bedding and breakfast was good. There is a Tesla charging station in the parking lot."

"My family and I stayed here for a week. While we aren’t used to staying in hotels that are less than a 3 star, we don’t have too many complaints about this Comfort Inn- especially for the price! Firstly, I need to start by praising the AMAZING staff they have here- they all work together like family, and make you feel right at home. They accommodate your needs as much as they possibly can. Check in was a breeze! Our favorite employee was the woman working the dining room for breakfast- She was a delight to be around. Always in a good mood and always smiling! The FREE breakfast buffet here was really good, offering waffle makers, cereal, juices, eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and more! The hotel is very clean, and smells wonderful. Our room was older, but clean. The only reason why I am giving 4 stars is because we had drainage issues with the bath tub and the toilet, and the shower barely had any pressure. I never asked the desk to switch rooms because it wasn’t THAT big of an issue and I didn’t feel like moving 4 people to a new room. The hotel is relatively quiet, and most of the week during the off season, the hotel is pretty empty. Even during the weekend when the hotel was booked out for Carowinds, it got a little crowded however was still pretty quiet and relaxing! They have a complimentary guest laundry room, but unfortunately the washer was gone/out of service so all we had was a dryer for the entire week. I ended up hand washing our clothes in the room, and drying them in the dryer. Lastly we were pretty bummed that the pool was closed, but I’m assuming it’s a seasonal thing. With us being from Florida we are used to being able to swim year round! They did have a nice gym though! We initially chose this hotel because of how close it is to Charlotte without paying Charlotte prices, and it worked out great for us. Most people staying here come for Carowinds as the name suggests (Comfort Inn at the Park), but it’s also very close to several attractions in Charlotte and Rock Hill as well! Ordering food for delivery didn’t yield too many options in the immediate area, but there is a Wendy’s next door you can walk to to save yourself some money. All in all, we had a pretty good experience. I kind of miss staying here already!"

"I had a great experience at the comfort inn at the park . Salena at the front desk was super nice and very helpful, she made me feel at home. This is sort of an older building but is well kept. My room was very clean, nice towels and well air conditioned. I was able to wash my clothes using their laundry facility. The whole staff here is very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a place to stay on a budget. Oh and they also have a really cool looking pool/pool area."
