"I love living here. It’s quiet and clean and everyone is so friendly. My apartment isn’t renovated but I don’t care because everything works and there aren’t any critters. The neighborhood is lovely and it’s right by the lake, so close to Birkdale Village, lots of fun places to go nearby. 10/10 recommend."

"After our former community was bought out and replaced with rude and unprofessional managers, we decided to move and came across The Verandas. After one tour with Jessica, who was extremely sweet and helpful, we decided this would be the perfect new home for us. Kayla also helped us with any questions we had and all of the staff we have encountered have been patient and attentive. The community is well maintained, pool and workout area are amazing, and the fiber internet and smart home app is even better than we anticipated! If you're looking for a kind and responsive staff and peaceful, upkept community, The Verandas is the place for you!"

"Pay more money to live somewhere else IMPROPERLY installed ceiling light fixture falling down and hanging from live wires is a safety issue. Made appointment for them to fix it, they didn't show up. I pay rent and in exchange they are supposed to provide my family and I with a safe place to live. These terms were NOT fulfilled this month. When I inquired about a discount on my rent because of the safety hazards we were exposed to I was quickly dismissed like it was a regular scenario they deal with. Manager laughed at me on the phone when I expressed concern of my dog getting loose when they sent maintenance without my approval/presence. I wouldn't let these people volunteer as management at my property. As an owner of rental property myself it is my moral and legal obligation to provide a safe place for my tenants to live and I'm glad I'm not part of the problem like Verandas at Lake Norman. Local management is courteous but not helpful. Process in contacting BH Equities has begun."

"I LOVE the location! It's not a affordable city to live in but Bexley at Harborside is a lifesaver. Cute homes with no problems in the months I've lived here. I love the clubhouse amenities. Can't wait to use the pool this summer. My only complaint is the Internet provider (MI connection) is overpriced. Hopefully At&t Fiber will be better! (They're installing it). Besides that, I enjoy living here! Only way it would be better is if they remodeled to add a fireplace! Edit: I have had 2 apartments here. The electric and plumbing systems could be better. They aren't horrible by far. But I've usually had better. The outlets are all installed upside down and tend to need resetting. The toilets take 2-4 flushes to properly drain. They go down eventually, it's just annoying. The Starbucks coffee machine is fabulous! I just bring my own cup now so I never have to skip on coffee due to the cups running out. I LOVE Chole in the office. She's the best. I enjoy coming to the rec center. Pool is amazing as well! Edit #2: I've had a few work orders out in and my plumbing is MUCH better. It took some time but we got there!!! I renewed my lease so I'm on my 3rd year. Quiet, safe community where I always feel okay walking around at night. 24hr rec center has helped me get some work done more than once!!! Still love living here. I get what I pay for as far as the cheap apartment construction. Great office staff and neighbors tho!"

"Me and my husband moved into this complex yesterday and I have been impressed with them since day 1. Joseph has been helping us along the way and I am so thankful. He was able to find us a great rate on our cozy one bedroom apartment and the next day after applying we were approved. The folks who work at the office are super nice and even were willing to stay late to help us with the move in process. Upon moving in, some neighbors were there to greet us and were very very friendly. Our first night was amazing. I felt like I was at a spa with our garden soaking tub. And it’s very peaceful and quiet. I put in a maintenance request and not even an hour later it was done!! I love the maintenance crew! And they are also dog friendly!!"
