"I have been leasing cars for over 25 years and anytime I needed collision repairs I would use a GEICO authorized shop. Geico has adjustors that work out of selected shops. I was always concerned that I would have issues with Acura if I returned a lease and the car wasn’t repaired Properly. Unfortunately living in Brooklyn these incidents happen more than I would like. Recently when I was leaving for work, I noticed my 2022 Acura had its bumper ripped off, damage to the fender, door and rim. I called Geico to have the car repaired at their local authorized shop and was given an appointment ten days from the incident. I did not want to leave my damaged car on the street. My neighbor referred me to Zambrand auto, Marco instructed me to bring the car to the shop the next morning and he will wait for the Geico Adjustor to inspect the vehicle. I dropped off the car and immediately looked around to see what I was getting myself into. My neighbor recommended the place, but I had to make sure this is the place I wanted to have my car repair. From the outside the shop was very large, the mechanic bays where set up like a car dealership service area. Multiple car lifts, each station was clean and organized. Towards the back of the shop, they had a state of the art spray booth. Still Uncertain, I then met Marco the owner, he introduced himself and went into detail of the insurance process, the repair process, and the time it will take to complete the vehicle. Growing up in an auto body shop I understood what this job needed. This wasn’t just about replacing the damaged parts. There were two areas near the fender and door that needed repair which worried me. Marco assured me he will repair the car like new and asked if I needed transportation home. Geico inspected the car and Marco and the staff of Zambrand, repaired the car to my expectations. The car has 2000 miles and I expected to get a new car back. The car looked like it just came out of the dealership showroom. I hope I don’t need Collision repairs in the future, but I will be going to Zambrand for my leased required mechanical services.
