"Far away from anything, peaceful, nice hot tub. But... taking stars off for lack of comfort. Which is the main point of our trip, comfort and rest. The bed has literal hospital sheets, definitely not a queen mattress it's a full. Pillows are also horrible. Honestly the worst sleep I've ever had. To the point where I'd rather just sleep on the carpet. Definitely bring your own sheets and pillow if you come here. Living room couch is so old it's lopsided and the cushions are flat. Seen better days, cracking sheetrock pretty much everywhere probably a foundation issue, water damage in most spots of the ceiling, Could use a repaint. Edit: We decided to cook today, all dishes were dirty. Lacking pots/pans, the pans that are here are extremely old and need to be replaced they were so disgusting we didn't even use them. Honestly the only saving grace here that makes it worth anything is the hot tub. Unless they make the changes to make it comfortable, a decent mattress something higher than 1 thread count sheets, decent pillows, a decent set of pots and pans. I would not recommend anyone come here if you're wanting comfort you won't find it here. Absolute waste of money."

"We love the condo. It's clean and just what we needed. It's reasonably priced which leaves more money to do things. The one way up Alpine is full of switchbacks (180 degree turns). Trish, who I met told us the other way to travel in and out which is much better."

"A great place to stay. Excellent first impressions. Inside is clean and maintained. Back deck is private with a hot tub. Comfy bed 2 full bath, thick and sturdy good looking furniture. Side notes- low water pressure but does the job. Fireplace is beautiful but also decorative. *Drive is up a windy hillside. Snow or ice the road is closed and if weather conditions are mildly slippery 4x4 would probably be required. **All in all 5 out of 5 stars. We were comfortable in every way. Also thanks to Trish the caretaker. She is local and stopped by to welcome us, say hello, and warn us driving up the hill in the snow. Wonderful!"
