"I typically don’t give bad reviews but after several emails & messages to them that they have completely ignored I figured I’d warn everybody. I was skeptical about renting this cabin, but by the time we decided to vacation for new years everything was booked. I asked 2 days before if we could check in at 10am just to change my kids clothes as we traveled through the night before heading out for the day. They replied it would be $340 if I wanted to do that. I can use stand if they were booked the week prior, but The cabin had been empty for several several days before my check in date so I felt this was a little harsh. We arrived to parking that was HORRIBLE. We come to gatlinburg a lot and I’ve never experienced this. The driveway is a massive slope, with no room to turn around, you have to pull down the big hill the back into the driveway, then to get out you are turning around in the middle of the road on the side of a mountain. Very very scary. Then we get to the master bedroom which hadn’t been cleaned. I immediately messaged & emailed them, it’s now been almost a week and they’ve still yet to reply. The bathtub had dried blood around it, bugs in it, hairs in it, and a ring of dirt lining the bottom of the tub. This sucked not only because we paid 2k for 4 nights but also because I had a 1 and 2 year old that needed to use the tub. The shower was just as bad. The cabin has no lights outside except 1 little one so you can’t see at all when getting out of the car"

"This is a really nice place to stay. I have a few minor complaints but nothing that would stop me from going back. The house wasn't dirty but it wasn't super clean either. I swept the floor with the provided broken broom. I swept up glass ...we didn't break any glass. One of our pillows smelled like a sweaty person, like the case had probably not been washed since the last guest or two. I would bring your own soaps the ones provided are not great. You will also need to bring your own cleaning supplies as they only give you some really bad dish soap. The kitchen is stocked pretty well but there are no measuring cups or spoons and no mixing bowls. There should be coffee filters now as we had to buy some and we left them there for the next people. The view here is really nice and it is a pretty well designed tiny house."

"I have stayed here mutiple times and have had wonderful stays each time. I have stayed in Tiny Homes, Large and Small Cabins. This is how I feel after reading All the negitive post. I owned 25 room hotel in Myrtle Beach SC 1997 to 2005 , 90- 95 % of all my guest were nice and communicated well with my office on their needs, their needs were addressed and taken care of promptly. The other 5% to 10% .... Well... Even if you jumped through firey hoops, You could Never make them happy. So please keep this in mind when you read all the reviews. Some people are just not happy with living. Politeness and Respect from Guest got the most Prompt and Courteious responses. Whether you stay at their cabins or not. "We stayed at The Four Bears Barn. Absolutely beautiful. We always rent from Cove Mountain and so does my sister. They stayed at The Tomahawk Lodge which we stayed there before also. Both Beautiful cabins but after going for over 20 yrs I FINALLY saw bears. Real ones. I was so excited. Our views from the four bears barn were amazing and we were able to feed the cows some apples. I highly recommend using cove mountain and we will be back sooner then later. The staff is AMAZING!!!!"

"Cove Mountain Realty is by far the best rental company I've used when looking for a cabin in the Smokey Mountain area. They are very professional and quick to respond to any questions or issues. I will be using them again in the future. We recently stayed at the "Run to the hills" cabin which we found through Cove Mountain Realty and Cabin rentals. This is the second time we stayed in this particular cabin. We chose it mainly because of the extraordinary view but also because of the quietness of the area its located in. Now, I normally don't write reviews but I must say that I was really thoroughly impressed. The cabin had been renovated with new stainless appliances and tile flooring as well as a new deck. It had also been re-decorated with very nice decor. The cabin was spotless and fresh. And, that view, WOW! other cabins advertised a view but the view here is looking directly at Smokey Mountain National Park! not the rooftops of other cabins. It was an absolute pleasure staying here and We will be back. D.L. Martin"
