"I bought an elliptical from them a little over 4 years ago. Didn't have any issues with it. Anytime I had questions I could call and Matt always took care of my questions without any hesitation. Then right after Thanksgiving it quit working. I called the number on the manual that came with the elliptical. The manufacturer sent out a local tech who I was not real impressed with and then quoted me an astronomical amount to fix the elliptical. I then did what I should have done from the beginning and called Matt to discuss with him. He talked through everything that it could have been, gave me the number for a service tech that he uses, and actually was able to problem solve with me over the phone and my elliptical is now working. I will continue to call Matt if I ever have issues with this piece of equipment and will certainly purchase my next piece of exercise equipment from him and him alone. It is so nice, but it is so sad that we are amazed by this kind of customer service and not something that we typically expect to have these days."

"Great customer service, knowledge of the products. Talked with Matt today about a new recumbent bike. Told him I would be buying in the near future, just not today. He answered all Qs with zero pressure, including a follow up call. I have bought here before. It’s been a while,12 years, because my current bike is still alive. I use it daily. Glad they’re still here. Once I get my final miles out of this one, I’ll be at Charlotte Fitness Equipment making a new purchase the following day."
"I purchased my elliptical from Charlotte Fitness Equipment and had a great experience. Almost a year later, I contacted them to have my machine serviced. After the gentleman came out to check my machine, he ordered the parts I needed. When he came back on the second time with the parts, he mentioned they did not include all the parts in the box and that he would order new parts (after he left, I found one of the parts he mentioned near the door - he had dropped it). A few weeks later, I called again to ask about the part since I had received an email weeks before saying the part was delivered. The gentleman said this time they did not include the sticker and got nasty with me. It was not that the company was not sending the parts. He was just being irresponsible and losing them (see picture below - this is how the company ships the part, they were all in the box). Because of his irresponsibility and lack of customer service, I had to wait an additional month to have my machine repaired. I also called the owner to talk to him about this situation. I mentioned that I had had a great experience up until this point. However, he just went on and on about how great of a company they were. He was not concerned about what I was trying to tell him about my experience. I reiterated that I had had a great experience up until this point, when I realized he was not listening to me, I checked out from the conversation. I contacted Johnson Health Tech instead directly and had them send another company out. They sent the arm and handle directly to me and they sent Jire from Fitness Machine Technicians and they were great. I would highly recommend this company for you fitness equipment repairs."
