"Came to the seafood spot at around 6:45 on 1/17/2024 for a few fried sea scallops. I was helped professionally and in a friendly, ethical, correct manner that made me feel like I would consider this seafood spot in the future."
"This used to be my weekly $600 grocery shopping stop. I will never come here again. The staff are liars. Who completely botched an order than tried to make me feel bad like I was wrong. Just moronic. Best wishes price chopper. You lost a 20 year customer."
"Love the variety of their seafood compared to Wegmans! Price choppers seafood would be my number one choice before Wegmans."
"Not sure what is wrong with their staff…it is not the customer’s fault you are overworked and underpaid. Take it up with your company. The behavior from the staff from the store this week has been astounding and horrific. Their seafood department needs to be re-trained. Using profanity against my 80 year old grandma and her friends because they were overwhelmed with lobster orders. It’s a holiday. You should have expected and planned for the rush. Poor management had the entire store understaffed. The fat guy at the seafood counter is racist and needs to be replaced. Come in to buy more lobsters a few days later. Young kid was way too rough with the tool to fish the lobsters out of the tank. He bashed one of the lobsters heads in. How cruel. Overfilled the bags as well. He is too happy smashing and throwing the lobsters on the counter and tossing them without care. A dead lobster is not good to eat. Asked him for his name just to say thank you for his help, he says “You don’t need my name. It’s not important.” What is going on with the hires these days??? That’s why I’m writing my review. He is a little too happy banging those poor lobsters around. Yes, we are going to cook them but they don’t need to be thrown around in the process. If you are buying $200-300 of food, do you want it to be handled carelessly? This store needs to get it together. I also have on video him throwing the lobsters around and taking his anger out on the tank. He needs to be psychologically evaluated and not working with live animals. The grey haired man in the glasses was very nice and the only pleasant experience I had in the seafood department."
