"The American Tobacco Trail is one of my favorite bike trails, especially in the summer because the of the abundant shade. Walkers, bicycles, runners, strollers and an occasional horse can be seen on the trail. People using the trail are of all ages. Lots of families on the trail. It is well used on the weekends. Lots of nature can be seen. There are a couple of stops for restroom breaks, but there is limited drinking water available."
